The standalone revenues for the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY25) have jumped to Rs 15,565.23 crore
Witnessing a healthy growth in its revenues, Avenue Supermarts, which operates retail chain DMart has reported a 17 per cent increase in its standalone revenue in the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY25). The standalone revenue from operations of the company have jumped to Rs 15,565.23 crore
The company, in a regulatory filing, stated that its standalone revenues for the quarter ended 31 December 2023 stood at 13,247.33 crore. Sharing the financial details of other years, the company added that its standalone revenue for the third quarter during 2022 was Rs 11,304.58 crore.
There has been consistent growth in revenues since past four financial years’ third quarter same revenue during the quarter ended 31 December 2021 was 9,065.02 crore. “The standalone revenue from operations for QE 31 December 2024 given above is subject to limited review by the statutory auditors of the company,” as per the statement of the company on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
As per the statement by the company, the total number of stores as of 31 December 2024 stood at 387. In the September quarter, the standalone profits of the company witnessed an 8 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump at Rs 710.37 crore versus Rs 658.54 crore reported in the year ago period. Revenue from operation stood at Rs 14,050.32 crore, which was up 14 per cent over Rs 12,307.72 crore reported in the year ago period.
