Value fashion giant focuses on growth in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh
Max Fashion, part of the Landmark Group, is set to expand its retail footprint in India, with a focus on southern states. The value fashion retailer aims to open approximately 15 new outlets across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh in the coming year.
With over 300 stores already in southern India, Max Fashion plans to strengthen its presence in this region as part of its overall growth strategy.
“The South market has been more traditional,” said Sumit Chandna, Deputy CEO, Max Fashion. “Firstly, the number of SKUs in the South and West is relatively higher than in the North and East. Secondly, as a Bangalore-based company that started here, it’s natural that we have expanded more aggressively in this region than anywhere else.”
Since entering the Indian market in 2006, Max Fashion has grown to over 515 stores in 210 cities and also sells online via its website.
