ABFRL To Incur Capex Of Rs 500 Cr In 2025-26: Reports

ABFRL Reports Rs 200.34 Cr Net Loss In Q2FY24

In the financial year 2025, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 7,355 crore, and the net losses from continuing operations stood at Rs 624 crore

In an attempt to make improvements in the loss-making ventures like TCNS Clothing and TMRW, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) is set to incur capital expenditure of Rs 500 crore in 2025-26, as per the reports. The company owns brands like Pantaloons, Sabyasachi and Collective.

In the financial year 2025, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 7,355 crore, and the net losses from continuing operations stood at Rs 624 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 907 crore in FY24. The company has demerged its lifestyle division, earlier known as Madura Fashion, into Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands, the reports noted.

The reports added that the company believes that the largest uptake in margins will come from turning the ventures which are currently negative earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA). Businesses, including TCNS, Tasva and TMRW, are suppressing the margins that other profitable businesses make, as per the reports.

While the company feels that TMRW will take another year to turn Ebitda positive, the reports added that all other businesses, together, would be profitable next year. On an independent basis, every business will be profitable by FY27, as per the reports.
