ControlZ, a premium renewed smartphone brand, has entered physical retail with the opening of its first flagship experience store at Old Delhi Road, Sector 14, Gurgaon. Unlike traditional outlets for pre-owned devices, where buyers must compare multiple models and compromise on condition or features, the ControlZ store aims to deliver a like-new buying experience.
Beyond devices, the store creates a complete ecosystem, the brand said in an official statement, adding that customers can purchase accessories and insurance, trade in their old phones, and access finance options.
“Awareness around premium renewed smartphones is still evolving. With this store, we want to show that buying a pre-owned phone can be exactly like buying a new one, transparent, premium, and aspirational. No compromises. This is a completely new category experience, where customers also get the option of accessories, insurance, trade-ins, and finance all under one roof,” highlighted Yug Bhatia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), ControlZ.
The statement added that ControlZ renews devices both cosmetically and functionally, extending their lifecycle while reducing the carbon footprint of smartphone manufacturing, estimated at 85 to 95 per cent of a device’s total environmental impact.
