Festive, Wedding Season Boost Drives PC Jeweller’s Biz In Q3

The company’s consolidated net profit stood at Rs 147.96 crore in Q3FY25, as compared to a net loss of Rs 197.98 crore in Q3FY24

Witnessing a strong jewellery demand owing to festive and wedding season, PC Jeweller has reversed its previous year’s loss and has posted healthy profit in the third quarter of the current financial year. The company’s consolidated net profit stood at Rs 147.96 crore in Q3FY25, as compared to a net loss of Rs 197.98 crore in Q3FY24 attributed to the owners of the holding company.

The unaudited consolidated financial results of the company revealed a considerable jump in its revenue from operations which surged to Rs 639.45 crore in the recently concluded quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 40.06 crore in Q3FY24. The total expenses of the company also marked an uptick as it increased to Rs 535.43 crore in Q3FY25, compared to Rs 244.13 crore in Q3FY24.

“In line with the positive developments that have been achieved by the company in the current financial year so far, the company had again started focusing on business development, increasing its brand presence and had started its marketing initiatives for the same, which has had a visible impact on the company’s performance in Q1 and Q2 FY25 and has continued in the Q3 FY 2025 as well,” stated the company.

The company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) has also shown growth, with a profit of Rs 154 crore in Q3FY24 against a loss of Rs 69 crore in Q3FY24. The company continues to maintain a wide network of 55 showrooms (including 3 franchisee showrooms) located in 41 cities, spread in 15 states across India as on 31st December 2024. The company stated that this is subsequent to closure of showrooms at two locations, Preet Vihar and Allahabad, during Q3 FY25.
