The net profit rose to Rs 315.9 crore in the recently concluded quarter (Q3FY25)
Registering a healthy uptick in its financial performance, tobacco maker Godfrey Phillips India has reported a 49 per cent surge in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY25). The company’s net profit rose to Rs 315.9 crore in Q3FY25, compared to Rs 212.4 crore in Q3FY24.
The unaudited consolidated financial results of the company revealed a 27 per cent YoY rise in its revenue from operations. The revenue rose to Rs 1,895.52 crore during the recently concluded quarter of the current fiscal, compared to Rs 1,487.54 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The total expenses of the company also marked an uptick during the quarter as it rose to Rs 1,567.75 crore in Q3FY25, compared to Rs 1,301.82 crore in Q3FY24. As far as the company’s performance for the nine months of the current fiscal is concerned, the net profit marked an uptick.
The company’s net profit for 9MFY25 stood at Rs 792.7 crore, compared to Rs 668.85 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. The consolidated revenue from operations, too, marked an increase and rose to Rs 4,987.75 crore during the period, compared to Rs 4,107.48 in 9MFY24.
The total expenses of the company during the nine months of FY25 also marked an increase as it rose to Rs 4,200.16 crore, compared to Rs 3,531.91 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
