Earlier, Virag Joshi, Whole-time Director (President and CEO) of the company expressed his desire to superannuate from the whole-time services of the company
As Devyani International’s board accepted the desire of Virag Joshi, President and Chief Executive Officer), to superannuate from the whole-time services of the company, it has elevated Manish Dawar, the current Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as President and CEO with effect from 1 April 2026.
However, Joshi shall continue as a Non-executive Director of the company, it said in an exchange filing. Shivashish Pandey, CEO of Yum Brands has resigned from the services of the company, effective from close of business hours of 28 February 2026.
“After a long and a very successful tenure with the company, Virag Joshi, Whole-time Director (President and CEO) of the company has expressed his desire to superannuate from the whole-time services of the company. The Board of Directors has considered and accepted the request of Joshi and requested him to continue as a Non-executive Director of the company and provide strategic advisory services as and when required,” the official statement noted.
“Manish Dawar, Whole-time Director and CFO shall be elevated as Whole-time Director (President and CEO) of the Company with effect from 1 April 2026,” Devyani International added in its statement.
The company has also appointed Anupam Kumar, who is currently the EVP-Finance, as CFO effective 1 April 2026. Accordingly, Kumar shall be designated as a Key Managerial Personnel of the company. Neeraj Tiwari has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (senior management personnel) with effect from 4 February 2026.
The company’s board has also approved the appointment of Varun Kumar Prabhakar as General Counsel of the company (senior management personnel) in place of Nalin Kanaujia – Head of Legal, with effect from 4 February 2026.
