Reliance Retail’s Net Profit Surges To Rs 3,545 Cr In Q4

Reliance Retail Q2 Net Profit Up 21%, EBITDA Margin Improves To 8.4%

On a full-year basis, the net profit increased to Rs 12,388 crore in the financial year 2025 (FY25)

Marking a healthy improvement in its performance, Reliance Retail Ventures or RRVL, the retail arm of Reliance Industries, has witnessed a 29.1 per cent uptick in its profit after tax on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025 (Q4FY25). The net profit rose to Rs 3,545 crore in Q4FY25 from Rs 2,746 crore in Q4FY24.

On a sequential basis, the net profit surged from Rs 3,458 crore in the third quarter of FY25, as per the exchange filing by the company. The revenue from operations surged 16.3 per cent YoY to Rs 78,622 crore in the recently concluded quarter, as compared to Rs 67,610 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. The gross revenue rose to Rs 88,620 crore in Q4FY25.

“Reliance Retail delivered strong growth in revenue and profits, powered by improved efficiencies, innovative formats, a sharper product mix, and continued investments in technology and customer experience. We remain focused on shaping the future of retail with agility and purpose,” highlighted Isha M Ambani, Executive Director, Reliance Retail Ventures.

The business continued to grow its store footprint, opening 2,659 stores during the year. However, with store rationalisation, the total store count was at 19,340 with a total area of 77.4 million square feet, the company stated.

Business reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) at Rs 6,711 crore, which was up 14.3 per cent YoY. EBITDA margin at 8.5 per cent during the quarter. On a full-year basis, the net profit increased from Rs 11,127 crore in FY24 to Rs 12,388 crore in FY25.

“The Retail segment also delivered consistent growth. In FY25, the business focused on a strategic recalibration of our store network, aimed at improving operational efficiencies and long-term sustainability. Our enhanced product catalogue and user experience across all formats, strengthened customer engagement,” highlighted Mukesh D Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries.

Reliance Retail recorded gross revenue of Rs 330,870 crore for the year FY25, a growth of 7.9 per cent over the last year. During the year, EBITDA margin on net sales continued to show improvements at 8.6 per cent, up 20 basis points YoY. The company stated that depreciation for FY25 at Rs 5,996 crore, up 7.7 per cent YoY.
