Allcargo Logistics Expands Network To Cover 100% Of India PIN Codes

New Allcargo Extended Reach (AER) network strengthens last-mile connectivity, doubles direct serviceable PIN codes to over 10,000

Allcargo Logistics has announced a major expansion of its domestic distribution footprint with the launch of Allcargo Extended Reach (AER), enabling coverage of 100% of India’s available PIN codes. The move follows approval of the company’s restructuring plan and marks a significant step in strengthening nationwide accessibility, service reliability and last-mile connectivity across Bharat.

AER is a rebranded and upgraded version of Allcargo’s earlier Extra Serviceable Stations (ESS) network. With its rollout, the company has expanded its mapped network from 21,000 to over 32,000 PIN codes, achieved through more granular location mapping within each Government of India PIN code. At the same time, Allcargo Logistics has doubled its direct serviceable PIN codes from 4,900 to more than 10,000, serviced directly through Allcargo Distribution Centres, enhancing speed, predictability and operational efficiency.

Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Allcargo Logistics, said the launch of AER marks a new chapter in the company’s domestic logistics journey. He noted that mapping every available PIN code and expanding direct service coverage unlocks greater speed, reliability and market access for customers. Kulkarni added that AI-driven planning, optimised distribution networks and deeper last-mile reach position Allcargo to support India’s consumption-led growth while strengthening its ambition of becoming the country’s most trusted logistics partner.

The expansion comes at a time when logistics demand is increasingly shifting beyond major metros, with tier II, III, IV and remote regions emerging as high-growth consumption hubs. Through AER, Allcargo Logistics now enables seamless access to difficult-to-reach geographies such as Port Blair, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, the Western Ghats and the North-Eastern belt, significantly improving last-mile delivery consistency and reach.

To support the expanded footprint, Allcargo Logistics has undertaken a comprehensive operational redesign, deploying AI-led planning tools, intelligent routing systems and fully digitalised workflows. The company has also expanded and optimised its hubs, line-haul routes and on-ground infrastructure. Recently, it increased and recategorised its transhipment centres from 21 to 71 to further strengthen nationwide connectivity and customer experience.

With AER, Allcargo Logistics aims to usher India’s express and distribution sector into a new phase defined by speed, predictability and reach. The initiative reinforces the company’s long-term vision of supporting MSMEs, digital-first businesses and enterprises, while contributing to India’s rapidly formalising and digitally enabled economy.
