12th Delhi Jewellery & Gem Fair 2024 To Showcase Over 1.5 Lakh Designs From 650+ Exhibitors

The exhibition will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

The 12th edition of the Delhi Jewellery and Gem Fair (DJGF) is set to take place from 29 September to 1 October 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organised by Informa Markets in India, DJGF 2024 promises an impressive showcase featuring over 650 exhibitors and 700 exclusive brands, displaying more than 1,50,000 designs across gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, semi-finished products and the latest technology for the jewellery industry.

A standout feature this year is the 2nd edition of the DJGF Silver Show, which will be held in Hall No. 2, highlighting a stunning array of silver jewellery. With over 25,000 visitors expected, including top national and international buyers, wholesalers, retailers and exporters, the fair offers a vibrant platform for networking, brand promotion and business expansion.

The event will also spotlight an extensive collection of gold, polki and diamond jewellery, showcasing well-known brands such as Shree Ram Krishna Exports, Hare Krishna, Sheetal and SJW Shivam. This year’s fair will reflect the latest market trends and the industry’s commitment to innovation. It is backed by key industry associations including The Bullion & Jewellers Association (Delhi), Delhi Jewellers Association, Karol Bagh Jewellers Association and Maliwara Jewellers Association.

Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, said, “India’s jewellery sector is on a remarkable upward trajectory, with exports reaching 6.87 billion USD from April to June 2024. As a global leader in cut and polished diamonds, gold, silver and lab-grown diamonds, India’s growing stature is reinforced by government measures like 100 per cent FDI under the automatic route and AEO status for streamlined trade processes. Organised gold jewellery retailers are expected to see revenues increase by 22-25 per cent this fiscal year, driven by the recent reduction in import duty. DJGF 2024 aligns perfectly with this momentum, offering a powerful platform for industry professionals to connect and seize emerging opportunities. The fair has consistently been a cornerstone for the jewellery sector and this year’s edition promises even greater innovations, showcasing exclusive brands and fresh designs that will foster collaboration and growth. We are eager to spotlight the best of North India’s jewellery industry and elevate the event to new heights.”

In addition to the exhibitions, DJGF 2024 will host knowledge sessions, conferences and workshops covering topics such as responsible sourcing, retail and colour trends and opportunities in gem and jewellery exports. These sessions will feature industry leaders providing insights to help attendees stay ahead of trends and explore new business opportunities.

The Retail Jewellers Guild Awards will return, honouring the finest jewellery designs and innovations shaping the industry’s future. Additionally, in collaboration with SVAR Media, the 4th edition of ‘Shakti – Honouring Women Achievers’ will recognise women entrepreneurs who have transformed the jewellery industry.
