Baskin Robbins Aims For 1,000 Stores In India & SAARC Region By 2024

Graviss Foods, the licensee of the ice cream company Baskin Robbins (BR), plans to open 1,000 outlets in India and the SAARC region by 2024, according to a press statement on Wednesday.

The firm has committed Rs 100 crore to a new plant in India for 2022. With this, the firm has made its product available in over 4,000 retail locations.

“With a commitment to providing high-quality ice creams & desserts in vibrant and convenient locations across the nation, we are happy to aim to reach a major milestone of 1000 stores spread over 270 cities in the country making BR the largest Ice cream Parlor chain in India,” said Vikram Seth, managing director, Graviss Foods.

This year marks the brand’s 30th anniversary of business in India. It is now present in over 250 cities. Aside from the ice cream parlour channel, Baskin Robbins operates in modern trade formats such as prominent e-commerce platforms, general trade outlets, hotels, restaurants, and QSR chains.
