Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 series, globally, with an upcoming release in India on March 7. The series includes two models, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both developed in collaboration with renowned German camera maker Leica.
At a grand event held in Barcelona ahead of MWC, Xiaomi introduced these camera-focused smartphones to the international market. However, for the Indian audience, Xiaomi will only introduce the Xiaomi 14, positioning it to compete with Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus with an expected price of around Rs 75,000.
Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform and feature the Leica Summilux lens, along with the HyperOS custom skin.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 14 boasts a 6.36” LTPO OLED display with up to 3000 nits peak brightness, a 1200p resolution, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The camera setup has been revamped, featuring three 50 MP shooters.
The main camera sports a brighter f/1.6 aperture with a larger 1/1.31” sensor, while the telephoto camera offers a 3.2x zoom lens. Additionally, the device comes with a slightly larger 4,610 mAh battery, supporting faster 90W wired charging, as well as 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.
