Allcargo Gati Joins ONDC To Power Digital Commerce Logistics

Partnership enables seamless, tech-driven logistics access for businesses across India through government-backed digital commerce network

In a significant push towards democratising e-commerce logistics, Allcargo Gati, one of India’s leading express distribution and supply chain companies, has joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). Backed by the Government of India, ONDC aims to create a unified, inclusive digital commerce ecosystem that enables fair access and participation for all stakeholders.

The integration brings Allcargo Gati’s full-service logistics network to businesses on the ONDC platform, providing express distribution, warehousing, and last-mile delivery services across 19,800 PIN codes in 735 districts. The move is expected to benefit industries such as automotive, pharma, FMCG, and consumer durables, with faster, AI-optimised, and more efficient supply chain solutions.

“By joining ONDC’s B2B network, we align with the government’s vision of an inclusive ecommerce landscape,” said Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and CEO, Gati Express and Supply Chain. “Our robust infrastructure empowers businesses of all sizes to reach customers more efficiently across the country.”

Vibhor Jain, Acting CEO and COO of ONDC, echoed the sentiment, calling the move a “pivotal shift in B2B logistics” that supports cost reduction, capacity optimisation, and SME empowerment through enterprise-grade logistics infrastructure.

The partnership also reflects Allcargo Gati’s focus on digital transformation, with continued investment in AI-based route optimisation, hub-and-spoke models, and tech-enabled delivery tracking. By enabling open access to its network via ONDC, Allcargo Gati strengthens its position as a preferred logistics partner in India’s booming digital economy.
