Amazon Unveils Beautyverse 2026 With Bollywood Stars, Expands Event Online

The ecommerce giant’s flagship beauty platform will feature over 70 brands, 600 creators and leading celebrities, while debuting a dedicated online storefront ahead of Prime Day

Amazon India has announced the return of Beautyverse, its flagship beauty discovery platform, with the 2026 edition set to be its largest yet. Scheduled to take place in Mumbai on 20 June, the event will bring together some of India’s biggest celebrities, beauty brands, content creators and industry leaders, while also expanding its reach digitally for the first time.
The company said Beautyverse 2026 will feature a star-studded line-up including Ananya Panday, Shilpa Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Karisma Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Mira Kapoor, Urfi Javed, Maheep Kapoor and Sushant Divgikar, among others.
In a significant expansion of the platform, Amazon will launch a dedicated Beautyverse storefront on Amazon.in, allowing millions of customers across India to access new product launches, creator-led content and exclusive beauty offers ahead of Amazon Prime Day in July.
“Last year, Beautyverse brought together over 1,400 attendees and brands who witnessed 1.6 times growth in their business after the event. This year, we’re bringing together more than 2,000 attendees, 70 brands, India’s biggest celebrities, over 600 creators and Prime members, making it our biggest edition yet,” said Siddharth Bhagat, Director – Beauty, Amazon India.
According to the company, Beautyverse 2026 will combine product discovery, content and commerce through a series of interactive sessions, workshops and discussions. The programme will feature conversations on beauty trends, wellness, entrepreneurship, creator-led commerce and brand building.
Ananya Panday will participate in a discussion on the evolving beauty landscape, while Shilpa Shetty will explore the intersection of beauty and wellness. Sonakshi Sinha will focus on the role of creators in shaping consumer trends, while Karisma Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez will share insights on beauty and brand building.
The event will also feature a panel on content and commerce with Mira Kapoor, Parul Gulati, Mrunu Panchal and Sameera Reddy, alongside discussions on self-expression and beauty standards featuring Urfi Javed, Maheep Kapoor and Sushant Divgikar.
Industry leaders from major consumer brands, including ITC, Hindustan Unilever and The Derma Co., are also expected to participate in discussions on scaling brands and navigating India’s evolving beauty market.
Amazon said this year’s edition will spotlight some of the fastest-growing beauty categories, including Japanese beauty products, French pharmacy skincare, premium haircare, Middle Eastern fragrances, luxury beauty, ingredient-led skincare and men’s grooming.
The company noted that premium beauty sales on Amazon.in have been growing at 1.5 times year-on-year as Indian consumers increasingly seek high-quality products and international brands. Participating brands include Anessa, La Roche-Posay, Eucerin, Dolce & Gabbana, Laura Mercier, Elemis, Urban Decay, Aveda, Paula’s Choice and Biodance, alongside leading domestic beauty labels.
The event is also closely linked to Amazon Prime Day, creating a pathway from product discovery to purchase through creator-led recommendations and promotional offers. Amazon added that its Influencer Program now reaches more than 150,000 creators, highlighting the growing role of content creators in driving beauty purchases and brand engagement.
With Beautyverse moving beyond a physical event and onto its ecommerce platform, Amazon is seeking to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly expanding beauty and personal care market by combining entertainment, influencer marketing and digital commerce under one ecosystem.
