Among metro cities, Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai led the charts in overall order volumes, with the 25–35 age group emerging as the most active consumer segment.
Online search behaviour mirrored this buying trend, with keywords such as ‘raincoat’, ‘umbrella for women’, and ‘mosquito racket’ ranking high. The monsoon aesthetic also took centre stage, as black, blue, and grey remained the most popular colours in rainwear—combining practicality with style.
Beyond weatherproof gear, mosquito repellents saw a 2X rise, slippers and clogs became preferred footwear for navigating puddled streets, and anti-frizz serums surged by 4X—highlighting haircare as a rising monsoon concern. Hygiene remained top of mind, with antibacterial soap sales doubling as shoppers looked to stay safe during the damp and disease-prone season.
