Black Friday Deals Across Platforms
On Croma, the iPhone 16 is currently listed at Rs 66,490. Compared to its original launch price of Rs 79,900, this represents a direct discount of Rs 13,410. Customers can also apply a coupon worth up to Rs 1,500 and avail bank offers of up to Rs 3,000. Additionally, exchanging an old phone can provide a bonus of Rs 6,000, with some devices valued up to Rs 16,000, bringing the effective price down to Rs 39,990.
Amazon’s pricing for the iPhone 16 stands at Rs 66,900, reflecting a similar Rs 13,000 reduction. Exchange bonuses of up to Rs 47,650 are available, and trading in an iPhone 15 (128GB) valued at around Rs 30,250 can lower the effective cost to Rs 36,650. Select bank cards provide an additional Rs 4,000 in savings, making this one of the most competitive deals during the sale period.
Flipkart lists the device at Rs 69,900. Depending on the traded device, exchange bonuses may go up to Rs 57,400. Trading in an iPhone 15 reduces the effective price to Rs 41,550, and with an extra bank cashback of up to Rs 4,000, the final cost can fall below Rs 40,000, aligning Flipkart’s offer closely with Amazon.
Among all retailers, Croma offers the lowest final price for the iPhone 16 during Black Friday. With exchange bonuses, coupons, and bank offers combined, buyers can secure the device for Rs 39,990, nearly half its original launch price.
iPhone 16 Features and Specifications
The iPhone 16 comes with a flat aluminium frame, Ceramic Shield back, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Its design continues to feel modern, especially since the iPhone 17 shares a similar aesthetic. The 6.1-inch OLED display features Apple’s Dynamic Island, offering vibrant visuals, though it lacks ProMotion support and is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate.
Powered by the A18 chipset, the device handles demanding apps and gaming smoothly, without excessive heating even during extended sessions on games like Call of Duty Mobile or BGMI. The rear camera system consists of a 48MP main sensor and a 48MP ultrawide lens, delivering reliable results, though it does not include a telephoto lens. The 12MP front camera is ideal for social media use, while the iPhone 17 offers an upgraded 18MP Centre Stage front camera.
At its discounted price, the iPhone 16 offers strong value and covers most features expected from a modern iPhone. For those with a slightly higher budget, the iPhone 17 is available at Rs 45,990 on the same platforms and comes with incremental upgrades that may make it a worthwhile option.
