Former Lenskart CBO Oliver Kaye Joins Boldfit As COO

Oliver Kaye brings over 25 years of international retail experience as Boldfit targets its next phase of growth across categories, channels and geographies

Indian fitness and active-lifestyle brand Boldfit has appointed former Lenskart Chief Business Officer (CBO) Oliver Kaye as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the company looks to accelerate its expansion and build a scaled consumer platform.

Kaye brings more than 25 years of international retail and consumer leadership experience across the UK, Europe and India. His career includes senior roles at Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Selfridges, along with leadership assignments in India’s retail sector.

He has been involved in the launch of Calvin Klein in India and the building of Gap India. At Lenskart, Kaye played a key role in scaling the company’s retail business during its high-growth phase.

Boldfit Targets Scaled Consumer Platform
Kaye’s appointment comes as Boldfit seeks to evolve from a fast-growing fitness brand into a broader consumer platform. The company plans to expand across categories, channels and geographies as India’s fitness and active-lifestyle market continues to develop.

Pallav Bihani, Founder, Boldfit, said Kaye’s experience in building and scaling consumer businesses would be valuable as the company expands its categories and presence.

Kaye said the opportunity to help shape India’s evolving fitness and active-lifestyle category was a key factor behind his decision to join Boldfit. He said his focus would be on translating the company’s brand equity and consumer trust into a business capable of scaling across categories, channels and geographies.

Expanding Beyond Fitness Products
Founded by Bihani in 2018, Boldfit started with a focus on making fitness products accessible to Indian consumers. It has since expanded into a multi-category business spanning fitness equipment, sports accessories, footwear, activewear, athleisure and everyday fitness essentials.

The brand has also developed associations with sporting personalities including cricketer KL Rahul, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh and tennis champion Sania Mirza.

Boldfit aims to establish itself as an Indian fitness and active-lifestyle brand that extends beyond individual products, combining performance, accessibility and sport as consumer participation in fitness grows.
