Featuring actor Triptii Dimri, the collection offers over 100 designs inspired by celestial forms, with modular jewellery, contemporary craftsmanship and festive buying offers
Tanishq, the jewellery brand from the House of Tata, has launched Adhyantara, a new jewellery collection inspired by the beauty and mystery of the cosmos, ahead of Dhanteras. Featuring actor Triptii Dimri, the collection combines celestial motifs with contemporary design and traditional Indian craftsmanship.
The collection draws inspiration from the sun, moon, distant stars and other celestial forms, translating them into sculptural silhouettes, intricate detailing and contemporary jewellery designs. It is positioned around the modern Indian woman, blending traditional craftsmanship with evolving preferences for individuality and versatile styling.
With over 100 designs across four categories — Glass Kundan, plain jewellery with stones, plain gold and uncut diamonds — Adhyantara includes necklace sets, bangles, finger rings and mangalsutras. The collection features 18-carat and 22-carat gold jewellery, with designs weighing between 30 and 120 grams.
The designs incorporate sculptural 3D forms, layered badroom, patented 3D Glass Kundan, hand-carved stones and distinctive enamel techniques. The collection also features gemstones such as fire opals and sunstones, adding colour, depth and brilliance to the celestial-inspired designs.
Modular designs and contemporary craftsmanship
Several pieces in the collection feature modular designs in 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 formats, with detachable pendants and separable layers that allow wearers to style the jewellery in multiple ways. The approach combines traditional artistry with versatility, allowing individual pieces to be adapted to different occasions and preferences.
Commenting on the launch, Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer, Tanishq, said Dhanteras represented an important occasion to celebrate prosperity, optimism and new beginnings.
“With Adhyantara, we wanted to explore the infinite wonder of the universe and bring it closer to the woman who inspires us. To us, she is a universe in herself — multifaceted, ever-evolving and full of dreams waiting to take shape,” Tshering said.
She added that the collection brings together the richness of Indian craftsmanship and a modern design sensibility, encouraging consumers to embrace the extraordinary during the festive season.
Garima Maheshwari, Head of Design, Tanishq, said the collection explores celestial forms through distinctive silhouettes, intricate craftsmanship and the interplay of light, colour and texture.
She highlighted the use of sculptural forms, layered badroom, patented 3D Glass Kundan, hand-carved stones and enamel techniques, adding that the designs combine innovation with traditional jewellery-making expertise.
Festive offers to support jewellery buying
Alongside the launch, Tanishq is offering festive benefits to customers, including a flat discount of Rs 301 per gram on gold jewellery, up to 20 per cent off on making charges for gold jewellery and discounts on diamond value, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The brand is also offering zero deduction on the exchange of old gold jewellery of 18-carat purity and above, irrespective of the jeweller from which it was purchased.
With Adhyantara, Tanishq is seeking to bring together festive jewellery buying, contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship through a collection that draws on celestial inspiration while offering multiple styling options.
