Lenskart Singapore To Acquire 29% Stake In iiNeer Corp

Investment aims to strengthen Lenskart’s in-house optical hardware and lens-processing capabilities

The board of Lenskart Solutions, Singapore,  a wholly owned arm of Lenskart Solutions has cleared an investment of KRW 3 billion (about Rs 186 million) to acquire a 29.24 per cent stake in South Korea–based iiNeer Corp., according to a regulatory filing.

The Singapore subsidiary will invest in iiNeer, a startup founded in 2020 that specialises in technology-driven eye-testing and lens-processing equipment, Lenskart said in its exchange disclosure.

“This investment supports the Company’s efforts to build proprietary capabilities in core equipment and is expected to improve operating efficiencies and reduce equipment capital expenditure over time,” the filing said.

The stake purchase is aimed at strengthening Lenskart’s in-house optical hardware capabilities, particularly in the manufacture of lens edging systems, including edgers, tracers and blockers. iiNeer reported a turnover of KRW 177.7 million in the calendar year 2024.

The transaction involves the acquisition of 123,945 preference shares and is expected to be completed by January 31, 2026, the company added.

Lenskart Solutions reported a 19.8 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax, which rose to Rs 103.4 crore in Q2 ended September 30, 2025, up from Rs 86.3 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company’s consolidated revenue from operations surged 21 per cent to Rs 2,096.14 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs 1,735.68 crore in Q2 FY25.
