Tier 2 and 3 push, steady same-store sales support December quarter performance
V2 Retail reported a 57 per cent year-on-year rise in standalone revenue to Rs 927 crore in the December quarter, supported by steady demand across core markets and continued expansion of its physical retail network.
Same-store sales grew 2 per cent from a year earlier, reflecting stable performance at existing outlets despite a challenging consumption environment in parts of the retail sector.
For the nine-month period ended 31 December 2025, standalone revenue reached Rs 2,262 crore, growing 63 per cent year-on-year, indicating growth sequentially compared to the full-year FY25 revenue of Rs 1,884.5 crore.
During the quarter, the company added 35 new stores, strengthening its presence across key markets. The expansion was largely focused on tier 2 and 3 cities, in line with V2 Retail’s strategy to tap consumption-driven demand in smaller towns and emerging urban centres, including Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, and South India.
While monthly sales per square foot (PSF) reached Rs 1,032 in Q3 FY26, down from Rs 1,219 in Q3 FY25.
The retailer has been expanding its store network to capitalise on rising disposable incomes and the growing preference for organised retail in non-metro markets.
