Innisfree’s new 2-in-1 cleanser combines a wash-off mask with a daily foaming cleanser, targeting sunscreen, makeup, impurities and uneven-looking skin in a single step
Innisfree has introduced its Vitamin C Brightening Mask-to-Foam, a 2-in-1 brightening cleanser designed to combine the benefits of a wash-off mask and daily cleanser in one skincare ritual.
The launch comes as consumers increasingly look for simpler skincare routines without compromising on cleansing and skin-care benefits. Unlike conventional foaming cleansers, which can sometimes leave skin feeling dry or stripped, the new formulation begins as a rich, stretchy, gelato-like mask before transforming into a soft foam when massaged with warm water.
The formula is designed to grip and remove impurities, excess sebum, sunscreen and everyday makeup, leaving the skin feeling clean, smooth and refreshed.
Cleansing Meets Brightening
At the core of the formulation are 30 per cent oil-based cleansing agents, which help dissolve sunscreen, everyday makeup and impurities while providing a cushiony, low-friction cleansing experience.
The formulation combines Vitamin C, Tangerine Water, Green Tea Enzyme, AHA and PHA to help brighten the appearance of skin, refine texture and support a smoother-looking complexion. Coconut-derived surfactants are also used to support cleansing.
The cleanser features a fresh citrus sensory experience with orange, lemon and bergamot oils.
A Single-Step Alternative To Double Cleansing
The mask-to-foam format is positioned as a single-step alternative to a conventional double-cleansing routine. It combines the melting action associated with a cleansing balm with the rinsing experience of a foaming cleanser.
The product can be used in two ways. As a daily cleanser, it is applied to dry skin and massaged to melt away sunscreen and makeup. Water is then added to transform the product into a soft foam before rinsing.
For a quick brightening reset, consumers can apply the product to dry skin, leave it on for one minute, then add water, foam and rinse.
