Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, reported a sharp improvement in its financial performance for the July-September quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit increasing 87.2 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 73 crore.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 39.27 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Operating performance also strengthened during the quarter, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) nearly doubling to Rs 93.2 crore, up 93.4 per cent from Rs 48.2 crore a year earlier. Ebitda margin expanded to 12.7 per cent from 9 per cent in Q2FY26.

Honasa Consumer attributed the performance to sustained growth across its focus categories and brands. The Derma Co. maintained its profitable growth trajectory, while its younger brands registered growth of more than 45 per cent.

The company also reported continued traction in offline channels, with its general trade network expanding to approximately 3.2 lakh outlets. Modern trade offtake grew more than 40 per cent year-on-year, while e-commerce remained another key channel supporting its business.

“We delivered our highest growth since listing, with revenue growing ~36% YoY and EBITDA nearly doubling to Rs 93 Cr. What makes this growth particularly encouraging is the strength of the business behind it. Our Focus Categories grew over 40% and now contribute more than 80% of our business, with strong momentum across General Trade, Modern Trade and eCommerce,” said Varun Alagh, Chairman and CEO & Co-founder, Honasa Consumer Limited.

At 1:30 pm on Friday, Honasa Consumer shares were trading 0.32 per cent higher at Rs 483.20 apiece on the BSE.
