Hyeglo Beauty Raises Rs 7 Cr In Seed Funding Led By Sauce

The skinified beauty brand will use the capital to strengthen research and development, expand its product portfolio, build the brand and make strategic hires

Hyeglo Beauty, a brand operating at the intersection of makeup and skincare, has raised Rs 7 crore in a seed funding round led by Sauce. The round also saw participation from Giga Capital, Consumer Collective, Arjun Purkayastha, SVP and MD, Greater China and North Asia at Reckitt, and The Patient Capital.

Launched in April 2026, Hyeglo is building what it describes as India’s skinified beauty category, with products that combine colour cosmetics and skincare. Its formulations incorporate active ingredients at efficacious dosages, with the aim of delivering both cosmetic performance and skincare benefits.

The fresh capital will support the company’s next phase of growth, with investments planned in research and development (R&D), new product development, brand building and strategic hires.

Hyeglo Beauty Looks To Scale Skinified Makeup Category
The company is looking to expand its portfolio across colour and care as it enters its scale phase. Its proposition centres on addressing the growing convergence of makeup and skincare, with products designed to work both on the skin and for it.

Founder and CEO Kanupriya Ahluwalia brings nine years of experience in building beauty brands across India and the Middle East. She has previously worked with Nykaa, Kay Beauty, Noon and Namshi.

Commenting on the funding, Ahluwalia said consumers should not have to choose between makeup that performs and products that are beneficial for their skin. She added that while Hyeglo began with makeup to address a gap in the market, its larger ambition is to establish the skinified beauty category in India, spanning colour cosmetics and skincare.

Investors Bet On Convergence Of Makeup And Skincare
Yash Dholakia, Partner at Sauce, said consumer brands that create new categories have the potential to lead them. He noted that growing consumer awareness of skincare is influencing expectations from other products applied to the face.

Dholakia said Hyeglo’s focus on formulation and Ahluwalia’s experience in scaling beauty brands across two markets were key factors behind the investment.

Fresh Capital To Fund R&D And Product Expansion
Hyeglo plans to deploy the Rs 7 crore funding towards research and development, product innovation and portfolio expansion. The company will also invest in brand building and strategic team expansion to support its growth plans.

With the latest funding, Hyeglo aims to take its skinified beauty proposition to a wider consumer base and build a portfolio that brings together skincare-led formulations and makeup performance.
