The British beauty brand has opened a new store at Pacific Mall, Jaipur, featuring a bespoke mural celebrating Rajasthan’s artistic heritage, as it plans to add 20–30 stores across India this fiscal
The Body Shop has opened a new store at Pacific Mall in Jaipur, strengthening its retail presence in India as the British-born ethical beauty brand plans to add 20 to 30 outlets across the country in the current financial year.
The store, launched on October 23, 2026, reflects the brand’s focus on creating retail experiences rooted in local culture. With more than 200 stores nationwide, The Body Shop is looking to expand its reach while making its ethically sourced beauty products more accessible to Indian consumers.
Jaipur Store Celebrates Rajasthan’s Artistic Heritage
The new outlet draws inspiration from Jaipur’s architectural landmarks, traditional crafts and vibrant cultural identity. A bespoke wall mural features the Pink City’s iconic architecture, historic forts, decorated elephants and bustling market scenes.
The artwork also showcases Rajasthan’s craft traditions through depictions of pottery artisans and traditional textiles. Botanical elements incorporated into the store design reflect the brand’s emphasis on responsible beauty and cruelty-free products.
The store is designed as an interactive retail space where customers can explore the brand’s product range and engage with its ethical beauty philosophy.
Its portfolio includes skincare, bodycare, haircare, fragrance and makeup products.
Brand Focuses On Purpose-Led Retail
Commenting on the launch, Vishal Chaturvedi, chief revenue officer at The Body Shop, said the company’s retail strategy extends beyond expanding its store network to creating spaces that resonate with local communities.
“Our retail approach goes beyond expanding our store network; it is about creating spaces that feel relevant to the communities we serve,” Chaturvedi said.
He added that Jaipur’s artistic heritage and distinctive cultural identity had provided an opportunity to incorporate local stories into the shopping experience.
The new store, he said, would strengthen the brand’s presence while offering customers an engaging environment to discover its products and connect with its purpose-led approach to beauty.
The Body Shop Plans 20–30 New Stores This Fiscal
The Jaipur opening marks another step in The Body Shop India’s retail expansion strategy. With more than 200 stores across the country, the company plans to open 20 to 30 additional outlets during the current financial year.
The expansion is aimed at widening access to its beauty portfolio through strategic store openings and enhanced in-store experiences.
