Baazar Style Retail Report 55% Q4 Revenue Growth

Baazar Style Retail clocks 55% Q4 revenue surge

FY25 revenue rises 38 per cent as store additions and improved sales density drive performance; profitability, however, remains under pressure

Baazar Style Retail reported a 55 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue to Rs 345.6 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, whereas in a full-year basis, the company’s revenue climbed 38 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,343.8 crore in FY25, indicating sustained growth across its store network, according to a regulatory filing.

Operational metrics also showed improvement. Sales per square foot (PSF) rose 19 per cent year-on-year to Rs 679 per month in Q4 FY25, while for the full fiscal, PSF increased 12 per cent to Rs 721.

The retailer continued to scale up its presence during the year. As of 31 March 2025, its total store count stood at 214, marking a 32 per cent year-on-year increase. The total retail area expanded 31 per cent to 19.21 lakh square feet. During the March quarter alone, the company added 15 new stores, with no closures reported.

Baazar Style Retail operates in the value fashion segment, with a strong presence in West Bengal and Odisha. The company offers a mix of affordable apparel across categories, men, women, and children, alongside general merchandise, including home furnishing products.

However, profitability remained under pressure. The company reported a 20.64 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 30.41 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to Rs 38.32 crore in the corresponding period last year. Despite this, revenue from operations for the quarter rose 23.52 per cent year-on-year to Rs 411.60 crore.

The share of Baazar retail was trading at 0.70 per cent on Thursday at Rs 292.40 against the previous close of Rs 294.45 per cent at 12.55 pm.
