Women’s and kids’ categories recorded strong growth, while pricing, sourcing and productivity measures helped protect margins amid input cost pressures

Women’s, Kids’ Categories Drive Growth
Campus Activewear said growth during the quarter was broad-based, with the women’s and kids’ categories recording strong performance. The company attributed the growth to design-led product development, sharper assortment architecture and execution across its sales channels.
“We are pleased to begin FY27 on a strong note, delivering healthy double-digit revenue and volume growth in Q1. The performance reflects the strength of the Campus brand, improving demand trends, and disciplined execution across our omnichannel network,” said Nikhil Aggarwal, chief executive officer, Campus Activewear.
The company faced pressure from select input costs during the quarter, along with higher labour costs following minimum wage revisions. It said it focused on protecting profitability through calibrated pricing actions, prudent sourcing, productivity improvements and a better product mix.
“Despite these headwinds, we remained focused on protecting profitability through calibrated pricing actions, prudent sourcing, productivity improvements and a better product mix. As a result, we delivered resilient operating performance and stronger profit growth during the quarter,” Aggarwal said.
