After welcoming Bose Corporation as a strategic investor last year, Noise, a tech-driven brand in India’s wearable and audio market, has stated that it has now raised USD 20 million from the United States-based audio equipment major.
Valuing the company at around USD 420 million, Bose had previously invested USD 10 million in 2023, as per the reports, which also highlighted that this marked the company’s second round of funding since its inception.
“USD 20 million from Bose. A New Chapter Begins for Noise. Thrilled to share that Bose has reinvested USD 20 million in Noise. Last year, we welcomed Bose Corporation as a strategic investor, and their belief in our vision helped us push the boundaries in wearables and audio innovation,” Amit Khatri, the Co-founder of Noise, stated in a LinkedIn post.
Khatri added that this is not just about funding, it is about building value, scale, and experiences that truly resonate with the next generation of consumers. As per the reports, the company registered a net loss of Rs 20 crore in the financial year 2024, as compared to Rs 88 lakh net profit reported in the financial year 2023.
As far as the operating revenue is concerned, the reports added that it remained flat at Rs 1,430 crore as compared to Rs 1,426 crore in the financial year 2023. The reports further highlighted that shipments of wearable devices in Indian have been going through a rough patch as it witnessed a dip of 8.7 per cent in the December quarter on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to 25.9 million units.
