Jubilant Foodworks’ Gaurav Pande Resigns To Pursue External Opportunity

Pande, who holds the position of Senior Managerial Personnel (SMP), submitted his resignation via email on 19 March 2026

Notifying a change in senior management, Jubilant Foodworks has stated that Gaurav Pande, Executive Vice President and Head, Corporate Strategy, has tendered his resignation to pursue an external opportunity.

In an exchange filing, the company added that Pande, who holds the position of Senior Managerial Personnel, submitted his resignation via email on 19 March 2026. Pande’s last working day in the company will be on 31 March 2026 (close of business hours).

“I am writing to inform you of my resignation from the position of Executive Vice President and Head, Corporate Strategy and Senior Managerial Personnel (SMP) at Jubilant FoodWorks in order to take an external opportunity. I request you to relieve me from my role and responsibilities with effect from the close of business hours on March 31, 2026. I would like to thank the management for the support extended during my tenure with the company and I wish the company all success in its future endeavors,” Pande wrote in the resignation letter.

The company is yet to share more details around the transition. In February, the company reported that its consolidated revenue from operations increased by 13.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 24,372 million during the third quarter of the current financial year. Improvement in gross margins, operating leverage playing out in overheads and a disciplined execution resulted in 20 per cent YoY growth in Ebitda to Rs 4,824 million and an expansion of 110 basis points in Ebitda margin to 19.8 per cent.

Net profit from continued operations before exceptional items increased 93.9 per cent YoY to Rs. 981 million and net profit margin expanded 167 bps YoY to 4 per cent. The store network increased by 114 net new stores, which was the highest quarterly store additions during the last four quarters, taking the total store count to 3,594 across brands and geographies.
