Mini Diamonds Receives Order For Lab-grown Polished Diamonds Worth Rs 12 Cr

India's Diamond Industry Faces Multi-Year Low As Exports Slump 25-30%

Mini Diamonds (India) has secured a domestic order of Rs 12 crore from a Mumbai-based client on Monday. The order involves the supply of lab-grown polished diamonds, the company informed in an exchange filing.

“Mini Diamonds (India) (MDIL) is pleased to inform its shareholders that the company has secured yet another significant domestic order of Rs 12.00 crore from a Mumbai-based client on 23 February 2026,” it said.

Management expects this to strengthen domestic channel relationships, improve customer retention on subsequent cycles and contribute to a more predictable demand pipeline in the Indian market.

Upendra N Shah, Chairman and Managing Director, Mini Diamonds (India) said, “Management expects this order to support the company’s domestic market position through consistent quality and adherence to specifications. Successful fulfilment is expected to build customer confidence, support repeat demand, and strengthen domestic channel relationships over time.”

The company added that the fulfilment of the order of diamonds shall be completed within four months from the date of order. Payment of the order shall be made on or before 150 days from the date of order completion, it highlighted in the exchange filing.
