The company’s net loss stood at Rs 44.95 crore in the recently concluded quarter as compared to Rs 235.58 crore net profit in Q4FY24

Primarily due to weak consumer demand and challenging macroeconomic conditions, Raymond Lifestyle has reported a sharp decline in its profitability as it posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 44.95 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (Q4FY25). This is in comparison to Rs 235.58 crore net profit in Q4FY24.

The financial results of the company revealed that the revenue from operations declined to Rs 1,494.15 crore in the recently concluded quarter from Rs 1,684.55 crore in Q4FY24. The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 99 crore in Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 289 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal (Q4FY24), as per an exchange filing by the company.

“Our performance this year was under pressure, primarily due to weak consumer demand and challenging macroeconomic conditions. Despite these headwinds, we remain committed to our retail expansion strategy, resulting in the opening of 170 new stores, reaching a total of 1,688 stores, including 152 stores in ‘Ethnix by Raymond’ during the year,” stated Gautam Singhania, Executive Chairman, Raymond Lifestyle.

As far as the EBITDA margin is concerned, it stood at 6.3 per cent in the recently concluded quarter from 16.7 per cent in Q4FY24. The company’s financial performance was further impacted by a ransomware attack that disrupted operations during the quarter. However, it led to temporary system outages and supply chain delays, impacting sales and operations. Branded textile segment revenue declined by 21 per cent to Rs 727 crore in Q4FY25. Branded apparel segment revenue stood at Rs 391 crore in Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 409 crore in the same quarter last year.
