Revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,291.41 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year from Rs 1,161.08 crore in Q1FY26
Shoppers Stop has narrowed its consolidated net loss to Rs 14.25 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year from Rs 15.47 crore in Q1FY26. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,291.41 crore in Q1FY27 from Rs 1,161.08 crore in Q1FY26.
The financial results of the company showed that the total expenses also rose to Rs 1,315.86 crore in the opening quarter of the current fiscal year from Rs 1,192.06 crore in Q1FY26. The company said that Intune, its value fashion format, sustaining momentum from last quarter, reported sales of Rs 82 crore. New price point of Rs 1,299 introduced last quarter is showing encouraging response, it added.
“Demand has sustained through Q1 and better supply chain visibility gives us confidence ahead of the festive season. We remain committed to inventory discipline, operational rigor, prudent capital deployment and becoming debt-free by FY27,” stated Kavindra Mishra, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Shoppers Stop.
Beauty Segment And First Citizen Drive Growth
Inventory freshness improved through in-store clearances and overall Inventory reduced by Rs 34 crore YoY, the company mentioned in the exchange filing. The beauty segment reported sales of Rs 327 crore, delivering 15 per cent YoY growth, led by a strong performance in the fragrance category, which grew 34 per cent YoY.
Shoppers Stop noted that private brands delivered steady performance with 20 per cecnt ASP growth, driven by portfolio premiumisation. The company opened eight stores, including two department, four beauty and two Intune, with capital investment of Rs 44 crore during the quarter.
The company added that First Citizen recorded highest contribution of 85 per cent The member base expanded to 13.8 million, supported by strong enrolments across tiers, with over 39,000 premium black card and 2,02,000 silver card additions during the quarter. The black card segment contributed 23 per cent of total sales, reflecting deeper engagement with premium customers, the statement added.
