IGP Opens Odisha’s First ‘House of Celebrations’ In Bhubaneswar

Spread across 2,100 sq ft, IGP’s new experiential retail destination combines gifting, dining, floral experiences, event décor and personalisation under one roof

IGP (International Gifts Platform) has launched Odisha’s first ‘House of Celebrations’ in Bhubaneswar, marking the opening of its largest franchise store and expanding its presence in experiential retail.

Spread across 2,100 sq ft, the new store brings together gifting, dining, floral experiences, event décor, personalisation and celebration planning under one roof. The launch marks IGP’s evolution from a gifting platform into an integrated, occasion-focused retail destination.

Unlike conventional gifting stores, the Bhubaneswar outlet allows customers to shop for curated gifts and personalised merchandise, create bespoke bouquets, access event planning services, participate in workshops and dine at the integrated IGP Café.

The store features a DIY Bloom Bar, where customers can select fresh flowers, wraps and ribbons and create customised bouquets with assistance from in-house florists. The Celebration Café offers dedicated seating alongside coffee and snacks.

“Celebrations have traditionally been fragmented. You buy flowers from one place, cakes from another, gifts elsewhere, and work with different events and floral specialists. We wanted to reimagine that entire journey through one destination,” said Tarun Joshi, Founder & CEO, IGP.

Joshi said the House of Celebrations reflects the company’s belief that physical retail should focus on creating experiences and memories, rather than simply selling products. He added that experiential retail is expected to play a larger role in the future of organised gifting.

The Bhubaneswar outlet builds on IGP’s existing House of Celebrations format in New Delhi, with the company describing the new location as its largest and most immersive edition.

Beyond gifting and floral experiences, the store houses IGP Events & Décor Services, offering end-to-end styling for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, festive occasions and milestone events. Customers can also take part in workshops and live experiences, positioning the outlet as a community space for celebrations.

The launch featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a live cake-making masterclass led by IGP’s lead chef, interactive flower-curation experiences and a walkthrough for media, influencers and guests.

IGP said the House of Celebrations format is part of its broader strategy to take organised gifting beyond products and towards experiences. The company operates across India, Singapore and Dubai, offering festival merchandise, gifts, flowers, cakes, plants, gourmet food and personalised products.

The company has customers across 150-plus countries and more than 1,000 cities in India, and says it has created more than 30 million gifting experiences to date.
