TechnoSport Ups Warehousing Capacity With New Bangalore Facility

The company says that Baglur warehouse currently stores 1.8 million goods and processes up to one million pieces per month, scalable to two million, with infrastructure designed for three million

Activewear brand TechnoSport has set up a 64,000 square feet warehouse at Welspun One Logistics Park in Baglur, Bangalore, as part of a strategic expansion that will increase controlled warehousing capacity by 130 per cent.

The facility will be expanded by an additional 85,000 square feet by the end of the year. Together with its 1 lakh square feet warehouse in Tiruppur, this facility forms a pan-India distribution network, enabling inventory movement, store replenishment and fulfilment across retail partners, marketplaces and TechnoSport’s own website.

The company said that Baglur warehouse currently stores 1.8 million goods and processes up to one million pieces per month, scalable to two million, with infrastructure designed for three million.

“The Baglur warehouse is a strategic milestone, reinforcing a national supply chain that integrates manufacturing, logistics and technology at scale. It enables us to deliver with speed, maintain consistent availability and elevate the customer experience across retail and D2C channels,” stated Puspen Maity, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), TechnoSport.

The warehouse employs over 120 people, with women making up nearly 30 per cent of the workforce, and is expected to generate over 200 direct and indirect jobs. Strategically located, the Baglur warehouse strengthens access to South India while acting as a feeder for national distribution, the company highlighted.

“As our retail footprint and omnichannel presence continue to expand, this facility strengthens our ability to manage inventory efficiently, improve replenishment cycles and ensure faster deliveries across key markets. Designed with future growth in mind, the warehouse gives us the flexibility to scale operations to support increasing demand,” stated Sachin Tandon, Chief Planning and Supply Chain Officer, TechnoSport.
