Third Wave Coffee Brings Dessert Brand To Tap After-hours Consumption

Starting in Bangalore, Third Rush will soon expand into Third Wave Coffee cafés across the country

Designed for impulse and indulgence, Third Wave Coffee has introduced a new dessert brand Third Rush. Built on the idea of being “Made for the Mood”, the brand seeks to redefine dessert consumption from impulse to spontaneous indulgence.

The company aims to leverage the evolving café culture, especially with younger consumers choosing cafés over bars for unwinding. Third Rush positions itself as the after-7 PM destination, the company said.

“With Third Rush, we’re building something that goes beyond dessert as a category and instead focuses on dessert as an experience. Third Wave Coffee has always been envisioned as a young, fun brand, one that understands how our consumers like to spend time, connect, and unwind. With Third Rush, we are extending that philosophy into a new space, continuing to build concepts that feel relevant to their evolving lifestyles and social habits,” stated Rajat Luthra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Third Wave Coffee.

The brand’s menu includes a curated mix of throwback favourites, crowd-pleasers, and playful, new-age indulgences, the company added. The brand puts a spotlight on Tres Leches as one of its hero categories. Leading the lineup is a Jim Jam–inspired version. The brand is brining the Third Wave Tres Leches for coffee lovers, as per the statement.

“More than just an extension, Third Rush is a natural evolution, one that builds on Third Wave Coffee’s understanding of its audience and their changing lifestyles. It continues to transform cafés into destinations for connection, comfort and spontaneous joy,” the company pointed out.

Starting in Bangalore, Third Rush will soon expand into Third Wave Coffee cafés across the country, adding a new dimension to the brand’s already strong community-driven approach.
