Welspun Living’s $13 Mn Nevada Facility Starts Full Commercial Production

On 30 July 2025, the board of directors of the company approved a capital expenditure of USD 13 million for setting up a pillow manufacturing unit in Nevada, USA

Welspun Living on Tuesday said that its subsidiary company, Welspun USA, has fully commenced commercial production at the pillow manufacturing unit in Nevada. This is aimed at expanding the product category in the home textiles segment in the United States of America (USA).

The subsidiary commenced the partial commercial production on 31 March 2026, the company said in an exchange filing. On 30 July 2025, the board of directors of the company approved a capital expenditure of USD 13 million for setting up a pillow manufacturing unit in Nevada, USA by its subsidiary company.

The Unit will have a manufacturing capacity of 10.80 million pillows annually. The capacity would be operational by January 2026, the company had said last year. It will give an additional revenue of approximately USD 50 million at full capacity utilisation.

In the same exchange filing, the company mentioned that the project would be financed 70 per cent through term loans and upto 30 per cent will be funded by the company. In the fourth quarter of the financial year 2026, the company posted a revenue of Rs 2,451 crore, marking an uptick of 7.7 per cent.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation for Q4FY26 stood at Rs 265 crore at a margin of 10.8 per cent. The domestic consumer business delivered strong growth of 29.2 per cent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in the last quarter of the previous fiscal year.

“FY26 tested the entire home textiles industry, US tariff disruptions, West Asia conflict and cautious global demand created a challenging backdrop throughout the year. We navigated this with discipline and emerged meaningfully stronger. We exit the year with net debt reduced by over 50 per cent, free cash flow grew 8.5-times to Rs 956 crore and a domestic business that grew 29.2 per cent in Q4,” BK Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group, said in the earnings release.
