Zydus Wellness’ Net Profit Grows 30% In FY25

The company’s net profit increased to Rs 346.9 crore in the fiscal year 2025 (FY25) from Rs 266.9 crore in FY25

Zydus Wellness has seen its consolidated net profit grow to Rs 346.9 crore in the fiscal year 2025 (FY25) from Rs 266.9 crore in FY24, marking an uptick of 29.97 per cent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, with Glucon-D and Sugar Free brand maintaining their market position,

The company’s net profit registered YoY growth of 14.37 per cent in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (Q4FY25) as it rose to Rs 171.9 crore in the recently concluded quarter. Net profit for FY25 (excluding exceptional items and one-time deferred tax assets) was up by 30 per cent and stood at Rs 341 crore.

The financial results of the company revealed that the total revenue from operations jumped to Rs 913.1 crore in the recently concluded quarter, marking a growth of 16.67 per cent YoY. In FY25, Zydus Wellness reported a growth of 16.2 per cent in net sales on a consolidated basis, which stood at Rs 2,691.2 crore

The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBIDTA) for FY25 rose by 23.2 per cent to Rs 379.7 crore, the company stated in a release.

The company highlighted that with the continued thrust on marketing initiatives, several key brands including Nutralite, Glucon-D, Everyuth, and Nycil continued to perform well during the quarter. The food and nutrition segment maintained its upward trajectory, registering a solid quarterly growth of 15.4 per cent and 13 per cent growth for FY25.

The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 6 (at 60 per cent) per equity share of Rs 10 each, subject to approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on 30 July 2025.

“Following the 100 per cent acquisition of Naturell (India) in the previous quarter, the business is performing as expected. The Sugar Free brand maintained its leadership in the sugar substitute category with a market share of 95.9 per cent. Glucon-D continues to maintain its number one position with 58.8 per cent market share at the Mat level,” the company added in a release.

The personal care segment continued to demonstrate strong performance, achieving notable double-digit growth of 22.5 per cent for the quarter and 33.4 per cent growth for FY25. The company noted that Nycil continues to be at the number one position with a market share of 33.8 per cent in the prickly heat powder category. Everyuth Scrub has maintained its leadership position with a market share of 48.5 per cent in the facial scrub category, which is an increase of 321.4 basis points over the same period last year, it added.
