Nestle India’s consolidated profit has declined to Rs 873.46 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year (Q4FY25) from Rs 934.17 crore in Q4FY24, marking a 6.5 per cent dip on a year-on-year (YoY) basis
On a full-year basis, the company’s consolidated net profit remained steady at Rs 3,207.59 crore in FY25, as compared to Rs 3,196.21 crore in the corresponding comparable twelve months ended 31 March 2024, as per the exchange filing. The revenue from operations marked an uptick from Rs 5,267.59 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 5,503.88 crore in Q4FY25.
The total income of the company rose to Rs 5,512.32 crore in the recently concluded quarter from Rs 5,294.34 crore in the same period of the earlier fiscal year (Q4FY24). The total income also marked an uptick on a full-year basis as it jumped to Rs 20,260.42 crore in FY25 from Rs 19,677.64 crore in FY24.
“I am pleased to report that this quarter we witnessed double-digit growth in beverages and confectionery, with three out of four product groups delivering healthy growth. Our domestic sales crossed the Rs 5,235 crore mark, the highest ever in any quarter, supported by improving volume growth,” highlighted Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India
While the revenue from operations and total income witnessed growth, the company’s total expenses also registered an uptick. The total expenses rose to Rs 4,307.76 crore in the recently concluded quarter as compared to Rs 4,053.84 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. The total expenses rose to Rs 16,103.77 crore in FY25 from Rs 15,383.59 crore in FY24.
On a sequential basis, the company marked growth on the net profit front as the consolidated net profit rose from Rs 688.01 crore in the quarter that ended 31 December 2024.
