Hamdard Foods India Expands Reach With D2C Online Store

The legacy FMCG brand aims to strengthen consumer accessibility and engagement through its direct-to-consumer platform offering beverages, spices, honey, edible oils and wellness products

Hamdard Foods India has strengthened its direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy with the expansion of its online retail platform, enabling consumers across India to access its portfolio of food and wellness products directly from home.

Available through myHamdardStore, the platform brings together the company’s range of summer beverages, honey, spices, edible oils, digestive health products and ready-to-cook essentials under a unified digital storefront.

The move comes amid rising consumer preference for convenience-led and digital-first shopping experiences, particularly within the FMCG sector, where legacy brands are increasingly investing in D2C channels to deepen customer engagement and improve accessibility.

According to the company, the online platform offers a streamlined shopping experience with secure payment options and doorstep delivery services aimed at enhancing customer convenience.

CEO Hamdard Foods India Hamid Ahmed said the company’s focus remains on adapting to changing consumer behaviour while maintaining the trust associated with the Hamdard brand.

“Our focus has always been on meeting the evolving needs of our consumers. Strengthening our direct-to-consumer presence through myhamdardstore.com allows us to make our products more accessible, while continuing to uphold the trust and quality that the brand is known for,” Ahmed said.

The platform also serves as a product discovery channel, allowing consumers to explore product benefits, new launches and everyday usage ideas alongside purchases.

Founded in 1906, Hamdard Foods India is widely recognised for heritage brands such as Rooh Afza. In recent years, the company has diversified beyond traditional beverages into categories including milkshakes, lassi, coconut water, glucose drinks, spices, saffron, edible oils, honey and packaged food essentials.

The company said it continues to expand its presence across India and international markets as it strengthens both offline and digital retail channels.
