QSR chain plans 150–200 new outlets in FY27, deepens push into tier 2 and 3 markets after record store additions in FY26
Quick service restaurant (QSR) chain Wow! Momo Foods on Thursday announced plans to scale up its presence by adding 150–200 outlets in 2026–27, with a sharper focus on tier 2 and 3 markets. The company is also aiming to achieve revenue of Rs 1,200 crore by 2027.
In FY26, the company recorded its highest-ever annual expansion, opening 200 new stores during the year. This has taken its total store count to over 850 outlets across more than 90 cities in India.
Sagar Daryani, Co-Founder and CEO of Wow! Momo Foods, said that opening 200 stores and entering 40 new cities in a single financial year reflects the company’s strong execution capabilities across teams and supply chain. He added that sustained efforts to improve product consistency, dining experience and service speed have been positively received by consumers.
He further stated that the company plans to continue its expansion momentum in 2026–27 by adding another 150–200 outlets, with a clear focus on smaller cities that offer significant growth potential.
Daryani noted that the company is targeting Rs 1,200 crore in revenue by 2027 as it looks to strengthen its position in India’s fast-evolving QSR segment. He also added that the company is increasing its investments in technology as it expands deeper into these markets.
Wow! Momo Foods operates a diversified portfolio of brands, including Wow! Momo, Wow! China, Wow! Chicken and Wow! Kulfi, and follows a multi-format approach spanning dine-in outlets, cloud kitchens and partnerships with modern retail channels.
