Burger Singh Enters Bangalore, Expands Indian Burger Legacy

Homegrown burger chain sets foot in Karnataka with HSR Layout outlet, BTM layout launch next

Burger Singh, India’s largest homegrown burger chain, has officially entered Bangalore with its first outlet in HSR Layout, marking a significant step in its aggressive expansion strategy. The brand, known for its Indian-inspired burgers and bold flavours, is set to introduce its signature menu to the city’s food-loving audience. A second outlet in BTM Layout is already in the pipeline, reinforcing Burger Singh’s commitment to establishing a strong foothold in Bangalore.

With over 175+ outlets across metro cities and Tier 2 & 3 markets, Burger Singh has successfully carved a niche in India’s quick-service restaurant (QSR) space by offering handcrafted sauces, premium ingredients, and flavours tailored to the Indian palate. The Bangalore launch is part of the brand’s vision to expand its presence nationwide, bringing high-quality, affordable burgers with an Indian twist to a larger consumer base.

Bangalore, renowned for its diverse food culture and a young, dynamic population, was a natural choice for Burger Singh’s next big move. The city’s thriving QSR market, coupled with an increasing demand for innovative food offerings, provides a perfect growth opportunity for the brand.

Speaking on the launch, Kabir Jeet Singh, Founder & CEO of Burger Singh, said, “We’ve built a brand that doesn’t just sell burgers but delivers an experience rooted in Indian flavours. Our products appeal to both burger lovers and those seeking something new and exciting. Bringing this experience to Bangalore is a key step in our journey to becoming India’s most loved QSR brand.”

Burger Singh has successfully positioned itself as a homegrown challenger to global burger chains by offering unique, India-inspired flavours. Some of its best-selling burgers, such as Amritsari Murgh Makhani, Bunty Pappeh da Aloo, and Bihari Gosht Mutton, have struck a chord with customers across the country.

Beyond serving flavour-packed burgers, Burger Singh’s expansion also brings economic benefits. The company’s franchise-driven model enables first-time entrepreneurs to enter the QSR space with a low-investment, high-ROI opportunity.

Rahul Seth, Co-founder of Burger Singh, added, “Bangalore’s fast-growing F&B sector, young demographic, and love for innovative food make it a high-potential market for us. We’re not just opening outlets, we’re creating franchise opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and generating employment for local talent.”

Burger Singh has already established a strong presence across India, including markets where international QSR brands were previously underrepresented. With HSR Layout marking its entry into Karnataka, the brand plans to launch 100 outlets across the region in the coming years. The next store is set to open in BTM Layout, with further expansion in Bangalore and other key cities across the state.

Founded in 2014 in Gurugram, Burger Singh is India’s fastest-growing Made-in-India burger chain. Competing with international giants, the brand has expanded to 175+ outlets in 75+ cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Shillong, Jaipur, Dehradun, Jammu, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. Burger Singh is also India’s first burger brand to establish an international presence, with three outlets and a food truck in London. The company recently completed a pre-Series B funding round, valuing it at Rs 430 crore, and continues to expand aggressively across the country.
