Former McDonald’s India executive to lead expansion as QSR chain targets 500 stores by 2028
Lenexis Foodworks has appointed Arvind R P as its Chief Executive Officer, as the Desi Chinese quick service restaurant (QSR) platform prepares for its next phase of expansion. The company, which operates over 260 stores and houses brands such as Chinese Wok, Big Bowl and The Momo Co., is targeting a network of 500 outlets by 2028 while strengthening its position across key food categories.
Arvind brings more than 25 years of cross-sector experience spanning QSR, FMCG, beauty, fashion and automotive industries. His background includes leadership roles focused on profit and loss (P&L) management, brand transformation and building digital-led growth engines.
Prior to this role, he served as Chief Business Officer (South) at McDonald’s India, where he was involved in driving business growth and refining brand strategy. Over his career, he has led initiatives across brand building, category innovation, full-funnel digital transformation and team development.
At Lenexis Foodworks, Arvind is expected to lead efforts to scale its portfolio brands, enhance operational efficiency and build a future-ready organisation. The company is also focusing on deepening its category leadership in Desi Chinese cuisine, bowl-format dining and the growing momo segment.
“We are delighted to welcome Arvind to Lenexis Foodworks at a pivotal stage in our journey. As we scale our brands and strengthen our presence across India, his deep experience in building consumer businesses, driving P&L growth, and creating digital-first organisations will be invaluable. Arvind’s leadership will help us sharpen execution, strengthen our operating backbone, and accelerate our ambition of building category-leading QSR brands,” the company said.
