The company begins with Amritsar, backed by a 20-partner network, and plans a phased expansion across Punjab and other states
Jindal Stainless has entered the retail segment for construction materials with the launch of its stainless steel rebars brand, ‘Jindal Infinity’, starting with Punjab.
The company rolled out the product in Amritsar, supported by an initial network of about 20 retail and distribution partners. The launch was accompanied by a two-day industry engagement with contractors, architects and structural engineers.
Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal said the move marks an expansion into the construction value chain and a push towards wider use of stainless steel reinforcement. “As India continues to build at scale, the focus must shift beyond speed and upfront cost towards materials that deliver long-term performance, safety, and lifecycle value,” he said.
The company said stainless steel rebars offer higher corrosion resistance, improved tensile strength and longer service life compared to conventional alternatives, and are suited for infrastructure, real estate and other construction applications.
Head of Sales Rajeev Garg said the focus is on building last-mile availability through a growing dealer and distributor network.
The rebars are manufactured using billets from the company’s Hisar facility in Haryana and processed at its Ghaziabad plant in Uttar Pradesh.
The company plans to expand availability to other cities in Punjab, including Ludhiana and Chandigarh, before entering markets in Haryana and Andhra Pradesh over the next six to twelve months, followed by a broader national rollout.
