There is a growing trend of combining automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) technologies, such as barcoding, RFID and the internet of things (IoT), to enhance supply chain efficiency and precision.

“The landscape of AIDC has undergone dynamic evolution in response to the escalating demands of diverse industries,” Banik said.
Banik points out that integrating AIDC technologies has become instrumental in addressing diverse industry challenges, extending beyond traceability in manufacturing processes to enhancing retail experiences. This heightened accuracy enhances customer satisfaction and builds brand loyalty.
