Gold Prices See Minor Correction, Silver Prices Surge In Early Friday Trading

The price of 24-carat gold witnessed a marginal decline, dropping by Rs 50 in the early hours of Friday’s trading session.

According to the latest data from the Good Returns website, 10 grams of the precious metal are now priced at Rs 62,950. Conversely, the silver market saw a notable increase, with the price rising by Rs 700 and one kilogram of silver now selling at Rs 76,000.

The dip in gold prices extends to 22-carat gold as well, where a similar decrease of Rs 50 was observed, bringing the cost to Rs 57,700 for 10 grams.

In the national capital, Bengaluru and Chennai, the current rates for 10 grams of 24-carat gold stand at Rs 63,100, Rs 63,950 and Rs 63,600, respectively.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold mirrors that in Kolkata and Hyderabad, standing at Rs 57,700. In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are available at Rs 57,850, Rs 57,700 and Rs 58,300, respectively.

Further, shifting focus to the silver market, one kilogram of silver is currently trading at Rs 76,000 in both Delhi and Mumbai. However, in Chennai, the price is slightly higher, reaching Rs 77,500 for the same quantity.
