Haldiram’s Exploring Acquisitions In Healthy Snacking Market

Haldiram's Is In Talks To Acquire Prataap Snacks For $350 Mn

The family-run business, which has a history dating back to the 1930s, is actively accelerating its growth initiatives by exploring potential acquisitions within the healthy snacking market. Neeraj Agarwal, who serves as the director of Haldiram’s Foods, mentioned to a media house that there is a possibility of an announcement regarding this within the current fiscal year.

The Agarwal family holds interests in both the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry and the packaged foods sector. They oversee various entities, including Haldiram’s Foods International in Nagpur, Haldiram’s Snacks in the NCR region, and Haldiram’s Ethnic Foods. While Delhi and Nagpur operate as distinct units, they collaborate on strategic brand decisions. Neeraj Agarwal is responsible for overseeing the expansion of retail and restaurants as well as the development of new products at Haldiram’s.
