Pernod Ricard India has named Gagandeep Sethi as its head of sustainability and responsibility (S&R), in addition to his current position as senior vice president of integrated operations.
In his new post, Sethi will head the social responsibility and sustainable development activities, according to the company release.
“Gagandeep has played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and business transformation across various functions, making him the ideal leader to spearhead our S&R initiatives and contribute to our long-term sustainability goals,” said Pernod Ricard India CEO Jean Touboul.
“Under his guidance, the company will not only reinforce its commitment towards the sustainable development goals but also make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of people we touch along the way.”
According to the organisation, Sethi will manage the design, development, and execution of a number of high-impact projects, with a particular emphasis on scalable water positivity and community-centered social impact programmes.
He has over 20 years of experience in the corporate sector, having held different leadership positions in operations, strategy, and business development, according to the statement.
