D-Mart Parent Avenue Supermarts’ Q1 Revenue Jumps To Rs 18,343 Cr

Avenue Supermarts Reports 18% Revenue Growth In Q1FY24

The total number of stores as of 30 June 2026 stood at 503, as per the exchange filing by the company

Marking a healthy improvement in its performance, Avenue Supermarts, the company which owns and operates the retail chain D-Mart, has posted a 15.13 per cent increase in its standalone revenue from operations for the first quarter of the current financial year.

In an exchange filing, the company said that revenue jumped to Rs 18,343.49 crore in Q1FY27, up from the Rs 15,932.12 crore revenue in Q1FY26. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the revenue of the company jumped 3.7 per cent. The retail chain’s revenue stood at Rs 17,683.86 crore in Q4FY26.

The company added that the total number of stores as of 30 June 2026 stood at 503, including one store at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is currently closed for customers due to reconstruction.

Last month, Avenue Supermarts invested around Rs 150 crore by subscribing to 4,32,90,000 (4.32 crore) equity shares of Rs 10 each of Avenue Ecommerce or (AEL), a subsidiary of the company at an issue price of Rs 34.65 per share.

The company recently appointed Nisha Pikle as Vice President of Apparels (Senior Management Personnel). Pikle holds a Bachelor’s degree in textiles and clothing from Mumbai University and a Postgraduate degree in textile design from SNDT University.

In the last 28 years, she has been associated with companies like Westside, Pantaloons and Vero Moda. In her previous assignment, she worked with Nykaa Fashion as Business Head – Private Brands.
