TRG The Mall Opens 12,000 Sq Ft Food Court With Top QSR Brands

The new food court brings together over 20 leading national and international food brands, reinforcing TRG The Mall’s strategy to evolve into an integrated retail, dining and lifestyle destination

TRG The Mall has expanded its retail and lifestyle offering with the launch of a 12,000 sq ft food court, bringing together more than 20 leading national and international food brands as part of its strategy to create an integrated shopping, dining and entertainment destination.

Designed to accommodate nearly 500 guests, the TRG Food Court features modern interiors and spacious seating aimed at serving families, professionals, students and corporate visitors. The launch marks another milestone in the mall’s evolution into a mixed-use commercial hub that combines retail, hospitality and leisure experiences under one roof.

Speaking on the launch, Pawan Sharma, Managing Director, TRG Group, said the company is focused on creating destinations that extend beyond conventional shopping.

“At TRG, we believe the future of commercial real estate lies in creating destinations that offer much more than shopping. The launch of TRG Food Court reflects our commitment to building integrated lifestyle spaces where people can shop, dine, unwind and connect,” Sharma said.

He added that the project would not only enhance customer experience but also generate employment, create business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the regional retail and hospitality ecosystem.

The food court houses an extensive mix of quick-service restaurants, cafés and casual dining brands offering cuisines ranging from North and South Indian to Chinese, Continental and Asian, alongside pizzas, desserts and beverages.

Among the brands at the new facility are Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino’s Pizza, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Subway, Wow! Momo, Chinese Wok, Biryani Blues, Sagar Ratna, Moti Mahal, Vaango, Bikanervala, Baskin Robbins and Belgian Waffles, among others.

According to Shorab Upadhyay, Managing Director, TRG Group, changing consumer preferences are driving demand for destinations that seamlessly combine convenience with memorable experiences.

“The TRG Food Court has been developed to become more than just a dining space; it is designed as a vibrant social hub where families, friends and professionals can gather, celebrate and spend quality time together,” he said.

Beyond strengthening the mall’s customer proposition, the project is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment across hospitality, retail operations, facility management, security, logistics and allied sectors. It is also expected to create fresh opportunities for franchise operators, food brands, local suppliers and service providers.

The launch reflects a broader trend in India’s retail real estate sector, where developers are increasingly investing in experiential offerings to boost footfalls and increase customer dwell time. By integrating shopping, dining and entertainment, malls are positioning themselves as all-day lifestyle destinations rather than traditional retail centres.

With the addition of the new food court, TRG The Mall aims to further strengthen its position as a premier commercial and lifestyle destination while supporting sustainable economic growth and expanding the region’s organised retail ecosystem.
