Ecommerce giant records 3X order growth and nearly 10X category expansion through influencer-led commerce
Meesho is reshaping the future of online shopping by launching one of India’s largest creator marketplaces, with 14.5 million users and 21,000 influencers driving its Content Commerce strategy. The initiative has fuelled a 3X increase in order volume and nearly 10X growth in categories such as Women’s Western Wear, Jewellery, Footwear, Home Décor, Kidswear, and Beauty & Personal Care.
According to the brand, to enhance interactive shopping experiences, Meesho has introduced three key initiatives:
Meesho Creator Club – An in-house affiliate programme that empowers influencers from Tier 1 to Tier 4 cities with real-time analytics, faster payouts, and brand collaborations, democratising monetisation opportunities for content creators.
Video Finds – Short, engaging product videos within the Meesho app, allowing users to discover and purchase products seamlessly.
Live Shop – Real-time interactive sessions where sellers and influencers showcase products, engage with consumers, and drive instant sales.
By bridging storytelling and shopping, Meesho is fostering a trust-driven, personalised shopping experience for its 187 million annual transacting users.
Unlocking Economic Opportunities for Creators

Between January and December 2024, Meesho saw a 3X rise in order volume, highlighting the growing power of influencer-led shopping. The platform has also expanded beyond metro cities, making inroads into emerging markets like Bazpur (Uttarakhand), Kotputli (Rajasthan), and Pakyong (Sikkim).

For content creators like Ramyaa Gopi from Chennai, Meesho has been a game-changer. She shared, “My journey began with a simple video review of a magic eraser, which went viral with 1.2 million views. Meesho Creator Club has helped me monetise my content effortlessly, providing tools that make content creation and engagement more effective.”
