Snabbit’s operating revenue rose to Rs 12.25 crore in FY26 from Rs 26.35 lakh a year earlier, while total expenses climbed to Rs 194.76 crore amid expansion
Maestroedge Solutions, the company behind home services platform Snabbit, reported a net loss of Rs 167.75 crore in FY26, compared with Rs 5.70 crore in the previous financial year, as expenses increased sharply with business expansion. The Bengaluru-based company’s financial statements, filed with the Registrar of Companies, show that spending on service providers, marketing and employees accounted for a significant share of its costs.
Revenue from operations rose to Rs 12.25 crore in FY26 from Rs 26.35 lakh in FY25. Platform services contributed Rs 10.82 crore, while the sale of uniforms to service providers, referred to by the company as experts, generated Rs 1.42 crore. Other income stood at Rs 14.77 crore, taking total income to Rs 27 crore.
Total expenses surged to Rs 194.76 crore from Rs 6.81 crore a year earlier. The cost of services provided by experts was the largest expense at Rs 63.07 crore, compared with Rs 27 lakh in FY25. Marketing expenditure climbed nearly 60-fold to Rs 48.69 crore, while employee benefit expenses increased to Rs 46.02 crore from Rs 3.27 crore. Service fulfilment expenses rose to Rs 23.83 crore from Rs 48 lakh.
“FY26 was our first full year of operations, and we made a deliberate choice to invest ahead of scale to build a category, not just a company,” Snabbit founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal said.
Agarwal said the company expanded from about 500 jobs a day across eight micro-markets at the beginning of FY26 to a run rate of 35,000 daily jobs across more than 100 micro-markets by the end of the year. During the period, it acquired nearly a million customers and onboarded more than 20,000 experts, he added.
Agarwal attributed the losses primarily to investments in geographic expansion, customer and expert acquisition, and the development of long-term operating capabilities.
Incorporated in January 2024, Snabbit enables customers to book household help through its platform, initially focusing on services such as cleaning and cooking.
The company had 309 employees as of March 31, 2026. Agarwal, who owns 98.98 per cent of its equity shares, received a salary of Rs 60 lakh during FY26, compared with Rs 15.47 lakh in the previous year.
“Given the pace of growth and the investments required to build this category from the ground up, FY26 financials do not fully reflect the underlying economics or the maturity of the business today.
“As we continue to scale, the benefits of operating leverage, improving unit economics and increasing network density are becoming increasingly evident,” Agarwal said.
